INSIDE ALL OF US THERE IS A DEEPER GUIDANCE
However, in the fall of 2001 I was very far away from mine. Despite a privileged upbringing and loving family I found myself suffering in the grips of a soul-crushing depression. I had lost all access to my joy, my hope, and spark for life. I was a hollow shell of a human being, and in so much emotional pain that I was willing to take my own life to escape it.
By accident or perhaps by grace I made it through that winter, and it was during that darkest period I began to inquire inwardly for the first time in my life. I was suffering tremendously but could identify no significant life trauma or other reason that explained the pain I was feeling. This is where my search for the truth began.
However, it wasn’t until over a decade later when I discovered the wisdom of trauma-informed coaching and therapy, and the power of men’s community that I began to get some REAL answers.

I BEGAN TO SEE
How I’d been crushed beneath the weight of unprocessed anxiety and grief, much of it from the death of my infant brother when I was not even 1 1/2 years old (more here)…
That in the wake of generational emotional and sexual trauma, including being born into a cult, my sexual expression had been buried beneath mountains of pain and shame (more here)…
That I had been numb to layers of suppressed anger and rage, and that it had been killing me from the inside out (more here & here).
In safe, supportive environments I stopped running from my emotions and started feeling them instead.
As I did, the darkness began to alchemize into light. My journey of reclamation had begun.
I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE
We live in a world that teaches us, in so many ways, to disconnect from the wisdom of our bodies, emotions, and intuition. After working intimately with hundreds of men and women from around the world this is what I’ve learned: My particular story is unique. The suffering I experienced in abandoning my truth is not.
The men and women I’m privileged to support want more freedom in their lives. They want soul-expanding intimacy and sexual spark in their intimate relationships. They want supportive, authentic relationships with family and friends. They want to be a lightening rod for clarity, aliveness, and power in their purpose work and careers.
I hold a fierce belief that through deep inner healing this and so much more is possible.
This belief fundamentally informs every aspect of my life and work. So if you’re a truth-seeker like me, if you are ready to reclaim the fullness of your human experience, then welcome. You’re in the right place.
